These muffins… These are so delicious, I can’t even explain. Did you ever had the Ben & Jerry’s flavor Cherry Garcia? Personally, I’ve always loved the combination of cherries and chocolate, and for this muffin I was inspired by the classic Ben & Jerry’s flavor. Now, I know these may not look like the prettiest muffins, but men, these are really really good! And if you feel a little fancy, you can just drizzle them with some dark chocolate, like I did with some of them.
After two Asian recipes (quinoa sushi and a supers simple sushi bowl) I would now like to present to you a recipe that can be found a bit closer to home… Or, at least for me!
Normally I’m not really a big fan of eggs, mainly because I’m not very keen on the chicken industry, but for organic eggs I gladly make an exception. These egg muffins are perfect for a Sunday brunch or as a quick on-the-go breakfast, when made up front. You can warm these up in the microwave, but cold they are just as good!
I am so happy! It has finally become spring here in the Netherlands, and with temperatures of 15 to 20 degrees Celcius you can even call that warm haha. So in line with the weather, I had to make something that was spring-like, and since it is Sunday, and I wanted to have a nice breakfast, I made pancakes! Loving the #pancakesunday trend.
These sweet little banana bread muffins are perfect as a to-go breakfast, or as a delicious snack. Topped with some organic greek yoghurt, like I did, they even look like sweet banana cupcakes! But, don’t let them fool you, as these are much better for you, while tasting even better.
When I was younger, I really enjoyed having granola for breakfast, preferably the one chock full of sugar, refined wheats and even some chocolate pieces if I was lucky. I would gobble it down with some milk or yoghurt and go off to school. Back then, I even thought that that granola was a healthy breakfast, a good choice to start the day. Now I really can’t imagine myself eating store-bought granola for breakfast (or any other meal for that matters), and this is for a couple of reasons, but the most important isn’t even health reasons, it is definitely TASTE.
Once you have made granola yourself once, and you know how good it tastes compared to all the granolas they carry in your local supermarket, you’ll never want anything else!
You are probably wondering what these so-called BBB muffins are, so here it comes: Blueberry Banana Breakfast muffins! I love these little treats, as they are super saintly but still really yummy and with a nice little bite from the flax on top.
